Pure romance company focuses on empowering, educating, and entertaining women. Through talking to thousands of women each year, Patty (CEO) realized the crucial need for more education, research and community awareness about women’s sexual health. To respond to that need, in 2005, Patty established the Patty Brisben Foundation for Women’s Sexual Health. This nonprofit organization funds clinical research and education for women’s sexual health, aiming to raise awareness about these sensitive subjects while working with health care providers to help them improve the quality of life for women everywhere.

If we were to describe the Bump & Grind vibrator in two words, ‘subtle luxury’ would be it. Lets first touch what we mean by the toy being subtle. The packaging is as discrete as they come, there is no way of telling, by just looking at the box, that there is a sex toy inside (the box is also very sturdy, so you can actually keep it as a storage box). More things to list in the subtleness category include: the toy’s shape, its dark blue colour, which is still pretty unusual for a sex toy, and the manner in which the bumping function tickles your G-spot. Second, there is also lots to be said when it comes to the category of luxury. The silicone on this toy is some of the smoothest and the most velvety ones we have ever touched. It screams expensive (which the toy actually is). We also very much appreciate the attention to detail, which shows in the charger cable that comes in the exact same gorgeous dark blue colour as the toy itself.

The Bump & Grind vibrator prides itself with two independently controlled motors, one with 10 vibrating speeds and pulsing patterns and another with 3 thumping speeds. It is fully waterproof and bath-friendly. The toy is rechargeable with a USB Cord. Charging it for 2.5 hours will grant you 90 minutes of fun at low speed and 45 minutes at high speed. Insertable length of the product measures 6.25 inch/16 cm; with an insertable girth of 4.75 inch/12 cm.

While with most toys, you have to wait two two hours before the first use to charge them this one is delivered to you partially charged up, which is pretty cool as the usual wait can admittedly feel like forever. The instructions say that you should still charge it completely before the first use, but that is probably more for the sake of not running out of battery halfway through your fun, rather than contributing to a healthy battery life. Without giving much thought to how receiving an already charged product influences the user psychologically, we became aware of this a few weeks earlier upon receiving the new iphone, which had been charged as well, noticing how that creates a sense of urgency and luxury.

Next to noticing how luxurious this toy feels, some of our first thoughts were that it is a bit of a shame that the side where you are holding the toy is bigger than the insertable side. The other worry we had, by just observing the toy bumping away out in the open, was that the bumping technique is not showing a bigger movement. However, we have learned that, when you are aroused to the point that your G-spot has been somewhat enlarged, the technique does give you immense pleasure.

You can use this toy in several ways. One, you can use it as a thruster, without moving it in and out of your vagina, which will feels sublime. There is a very satisfying G-spot curve, which, when combined with the bumping against the G-spot, slowly and subtly brought us to a climax. Once we got there, it felt like the tickling of the clit was causing vibrations to spread around our bodies. Like with other hands-free toys, this toy supports your horniset endavours and encourages you to go on and on. Two, for a somewhat intensified play, you can also pleasure yourself by moving the vibrator in and out. Due to its gorgeous velvety silicone, the toy is lovely to hold. This pleasuring technique is likely to make you stronger.  Both of these uses can easily be combined with a clitorial vibrator, we actually prefer it that way. Third, although not advertised as a clitoral vibrator at all, the Bump and Grind does wonders on your clit. This is the time when it's vibrating motor really pays its bills. It also has a super flexible shaft, which is enabling you to add as much pressure to the clit as you want. It has a fairly big vibrating and bumping surface for you to play with. We love using it on our clit in the beginning and then later progressing to internal use.

Like many toys with newer techniques (e.g. air suction, or thrusting) this toy also has a bit of an unusual sound to it and in this case, one that is fairly high pitched. It was a bit disturbing at first, but now we are not bothered by it anymore. It changes the sound when inside a vagina to sound a bit like an exotic bird.

Overall, this toy is a well made product that can provide a very pleasant orgasm. We love that it is versatile enough to be used both internally and externally. It's easy to use, as buttons are extremely easy to press and is also easy to clean and store. If we were to have one negative remark, it would be that, for this price point, we would have appreciated receiving a travel pouch.

We are very grateful to Tanika for sending us this toy in exchange for an honest review. Check out her page at www.pureromance.com/tanikawade.
