The Doxy Original delivers deeply intense power. This is the largest wand or for that matter vibrator we have ever tried. It’s massive head (measuring 7 cm or 2,8 inch in length and 6 cm or 2,4 inch in width) makes it incredibly easy to use, whether we are using it individually or together. The two prime reasons for loving wands are their strength and for not having to think about locating the right spot. The large vibrating surfaces massages thousands of nerve cells at once, which is a wonderful feature. It is big enough to place between our bodies hands free so we can focus on grinding and kissing instead of holding it.
The handle measures 24cm or 9,4 inch in length and it is made from ABS plastic which makes it fairly lightweight. It weighs 500 grams or 17,6 oz. Vibrations are super powerful and rumbly. On their website, It is stated that Doxy originally boasts more than 30% power than the Hitachi Magic Wand. It definitely is the strongest wand we have tried so far. There are 3 control buttons. Although easy to use, due to the large size of the buttons, we dislike the wobbly silicone made buttons. The power button, plus and minus buttons which allow you to step up the pace from a whispering 3,000 really pleasurable moments (RPMs) to a deep baritone at 9,000 RPMs. It has a feature to turn on the pulse mode by pressing and holding the power button for three seconds.
Another thing to love is the lengthy cable, 3m gives us plenty of flexibility for using the toy for wherever we plug the toy. Originally it has a UK power supply plug and it comes with adapters for EU, US & AU/NZ. Doxy original is available in pink, black, purple and white colours, all with grey heads like the one in our pics here.
If we were to compare it to the European magic wand, our first wand love, the head softness is similar to the European Magic Wand, as is the strength. Strangely, we find that not many wands are compatible for partnered sex, there is something about the head not fitting perfectly between our vaginas. Luckily, the Doxy doesn’t have that problem. We still wish its head and the heads of all wands, for that matter, would be even softer, so we could avoid enthusiastic grinding leading to painfull public bones.
