Agent Provocateur X Lovehoney Rumba Silicone Wand Vibrator
Agent Provocateur is famous for luxury lingerie and for their inviting boutiques, where the sales people are wearing silky pink robes with AP logos. If we were filthy rich, this would be the place we’d be buying our lingerie at, at least for the days, we’d want something less sporty than we tend to go for in our everyday attire.
The Lovehoney and Agent Provocateur collaboration does not disappoint in delivering the same level of luxury. We reviewed their Rumba vibrator, which is a fairly small rechargeable wand vibrator, made from a velvety-soft silicone wand. The Rumba vibrator is encased in a gorgeous black faux leather case with a rose gold zip closure.
It features minimalistic design with incredible attention to detail. The two-button rose gold interface matches the case zipper. The power lights are in pink, which is a minor detail, but we got excited to see a novelty in such a secondary natured feature. The absolute best feature of Rumba is its squishy head.
It’s fairly big head for its body is just the perfect size and shape to make us come quickly. The velvety texture feels lovely to rub against a lubricated clit. The vibrations are rumbly and deep, but not too intense as with for example some other non-rechargeable wands, which makes this toy challenging to put aside. The neck is very flexible, to the point of it being a disadvantage, rather than an advantage. The flexibility hampers putting pressure on the clit, not that it is really needed given the strength of the vibrations.
In terms of simultaneous use, we find it a little too small to be used by the two of us in a missionary position. We’d need a bigger handle to hold it in place.
The Rumba has 7 vibration patterns and 3 levels of intensity for diverse solo or couple's play. It is waterproof, rechargeable, 120 min of charging gives us up to 45 minutes of play time.
