Strap & Bound harness by Fun Factory
Fun Factory is a German company with over 20 years of experience in sex toys industry, no wonder they call themselves pioneers in playfulnes. They use high quality materials and put a lot of effort in the design of fun and imaginary shapes that inspire sexual exploration.
At Fun Factory they focus on developing premium vibrators and dildos and they only have one harness in their offer, the Strap & Bound harness. It is made from vegan denim and comes with adjustable hip belt and leg straps that are suitable for a fairly wide range of sizes, including everything from 34 to 44 (European sizes). This makes it fantastic gear to be shared with differently built partners. The O-ring is generously sized and easily fits all dildo thicknesses, up to 4,5 cm, as long as it has a base. This harness has a few advantages as well as disadvantages. It is minimalistically designed, using a minimum amount of fabric, resulting in a thin harness that will perfectly accommodate a double dildo without any fabric occupying its insertable length. The harness uncovers the giver’s vagina, allowing them to enjoy penetration, should they so desire. The material is also washable with a washing machine, which is extremely convenient and hygienic.
Now, as for the downsides, the harness tends to loosen up with our movement a while in our session. It doesn’t have a hook-and-loop fastener-like thingy, but rather two metal circles that hold the straps in the position. Additionally, the denim is not stretchy, doesn’t move with our body, and the tensening of the muscles slowly janks the fabric out of the metal hooks. It is fairly easy to adjust it back and fix it but still it is an unwanted disruption during play. The major weakness, for us, is the low position of the dildo O-ring, which fits the dildos in slightly awkward angles, but this may not be the case for every body type.
We are normally massive fans of everything Fun Factory and were quite excited to try it out as it seemed like we could have a lot of fun with it. However, we were unfortunately not sold on this harness. It looked more sturdy on the website, like it would be a part of Tomb Raider’s gear, whereas in real life it is not as powerful and offering as much as we would want and expect it to.
