The Tedy clitoral vibrator is made by the Good vibes only company. There is not much info out there about them, but we at least found out that they design their toys in The Netherlands and that they use body-safe silicone in their products. Browsing through some of the European sex-shops, we’ve noticed that they’ve recently launched a cute and colourful collection in the lower-price range, of which the Tedy clitoral vibrator is a part of.

We just had to have a go with this playful-looking bunny. Tedy’s ears and nose are designed in a way that makes it seem like it has just sniffed out where the party is at and is excited to join in. It reminds us of a pointy-eared dog at the moment of excitement when it is waiting for you to throw a ball so it can run to fetch it. Apart from being one of the most adorable vibrators out there, this is also a powerful and quiet vibrator, which is an impressive accomplishment for this price point (sells for 35 - 50 euros). The strongest vibrations come from the ears. You can stimulate your clit in different ways, either using their tips, or the the whole ears (by holding Tedy from the side), holding its nose on your clit, or you just may find your own way of enjoying the naughty bunny. If you are used to adding pressure to your clit in order to orgasm (or grinding), at least the first time around, this toy may take some time getting used to, and experimenting with, before you will reach the seventh heaven. Luckily, with some patience, you are quite likely to get there.

Tedy is made from ABS (the inside) and a soft body-safe silicone (on the outside) and has 10 different vibration settings. The product comes at 9.5 cm (3.75 inch) X 10 cm (3.9 inch) X 5 cm (2 inch) in size and weighs bare 80 grams (2.8 ounces). To turn it on, you’ll need to hold the top button for a few seconds, then use the buttons to switch the settings and turn it off by holding the bottom button. The buttons are somewhat hard to press, and however annoying this may be when in use, it is nevertheless gratifying to know that your toy is unlikely to turn itself on while travelling. Along with its small size this makes the toy perfect for travelling. Its fast charging battery has a life of two hours and uses USB to recharge. The toy is also waterproof, so you should be able to take Tedy for a little dive in your bathtub.

Coming back to our everyday pleasuring practices, as someone who is used to either tribbing (grinding) against harder surfaces, or prefers powerful vibrators with bigger vibrating surfaces (like the Europe magic wand), our first test was also an examination of our patience. Although its ears vibrate powerfully, we found them too thin to use for stimulating anything else than the main pleasure point in your clit. So we had to focus really hard on it. Although this is not technically a pinpoint vibrator, which has an even thinner vibrating tip, it’s pointy ears offer the possibility of pinpointing stimulation to the most sensitive parts, which would qualify this vibrator in the same category as the pinpoint vibrators. Tedy has the advantage of offering you the possibility to pinpoint two most sensitive parts, for example, in the centre of your clit and just above it, or just below and above your clit. Additionally, Tedy’s vibrations are also transferred throughout its body, which renders it a candidate for a variety of other uses which are generally unattainable by traditional pinpoint vibrators. For instance, one can also rub its head against their clit. And while we find the shape of the nose particularly enjoyable for that, we do wish its vibrating was a bit stronger - a somewhat ambitious request for the price point in question. Tedy might have made us work for it, but once we got there, it rewarded our patience with a lovely orgasm. 15 minutes into the first test, one of us nearly gave up. However, after giving it another 10 she came whispering "I cannot stop," only to keep going for another 15 minutes. Eventually, it made us both squirt already during our first test.

The second and the third time around, we were able to climax much quicker, as we knew what to expect. Although we are annoyed by promotions of “discrete” sex toys just for the sake of them being discrete, because we feel it may also reinforce shaming of female pleasure, we should say its inconspicuous appearance is nevertheless a big asset. Without a doubt, Tedy qualifies as a cute little quiet toy that you carry around and have on your bed stand. Sadly, it cannot stand upright on its own, nor does it have a stand like some of the fancier clitoral vibrators.

We have two more things to add. First, one of its shortcomings is definitely that the vibrations somewhat numb your hand and your clit, leaving you with a tingly sensation after you have stopped using it. Second, unfortunately, the pool-chill playset, Tedy’s cool hat and it’s friend, Lucy the panda, are not sold by the Good vibes only company. Although we personally believe that it would add significantly to the value to the toy.
