Lovehoney 12 Days of Play Sex Toy Advent Calendar for Women
This black and violet advent calendar was made to enhance solo play for vulva owners looking for a spicier Christmas count-down. It consists of 12 items which can be enjoyed separately or combined for more fun.
Overall, we love the variety of items included in the calendar. On the one hand, there are the softer “get me in the mood” types of items to spice up cold evenings with your partner, such as a sexy card game, an orgasm enhancer gel and a blind fold. On the other hand, there are more traditional sex toys that can be enjoyed in couples or solo, such as a handful of clitoral vibrators and air pulsators, a G-spot suction cup dildo, but plug and beads, and nipple clamps.
The star of the calendar is the amazing Womanizer Starlet 2 which uses air pulsations to stimulate the clitoris. To learn more about the technology, read our review of a similar product here. This is a fab toy and it alone almost makes it worth buying the calendar.
This strikes us as a great item to get if you:
a) live in a place where winter is rainy and grey, forcing you to stay inside
b) fear a Covid-lock down will ruin your December X-mas countdown
c) want to add something fun to your december agenda (for yourself, or you and your partner/s)
This is fantastic for seasoned users as much as it is for the beginners, as the cards set offers plenty of ideas on using the items included in the calendar. Behind each open door is a description of the item as well as a little tip for use. The only downside is that the calendar material seems a little cheaply made. The skeleton of the calendar is made from plastic in which the toys are placed, this is wrapped in a thin cardboard, which is so thin that the door to each day can be torn off if not carefully opened. The calendar materials feel like a cheap chocolate advent calendar, rather than a higher price range sex toys one. Luckily the inside did not disappoint.
Calendar includes:
Rechargeable bullet vibrator
Mint orgasm balm
Crystal but plug
Sensual blindfold
Kegel balls
Mini wand vibrator
Anal beads
Finger vibe sleeve
G-spot dildo
Nipple clamps
Pleasure cards
Womanizer Starlet 2
We’ve picked out a few toys to review.
The Mint orgasm balm. The instructions suggest massaging the balm on nipples and blowing on it, which did not provide either of us with too much excitement. The orgasm intensifying balm is an exciting item to find in the calendar. However, unfortunately, we couldn’t really feel a massive difference.
The Anal beads are lovely to touch, they are made from a velvetly silicone. This item comes in clever design. It has a hole at the end, for placing a finger in it for easy manipulation and use. We like these beads as an item in the calendar because they are not too large and are not too intimidating. If looking for a bigger anal toys, there is also a gorgeous anal plug with a diamond.
The Womanizer starlet 2 is lightweight and easy to hold, it feels like it came from a barbie set. Air pulsator toys deliver slightly different orgasms to clitorar vibrators. We love using both. With air pulsators the orgasms can be more pointed and take a bit longer to build up. Once we get there, we find ourselves excited over the divine orgams that feel intense and soft at the same time, as if someone is kissing our clits.
The Nipple clamps are super adorable, with the little Lovely honey heart logo pendant. They are super easy to put on and take off and they offer a good range of tightening and stay on during play, so overall another lovely item.
Thank you so much, Lovehoney for sending us this calendar in exchange for an honest review.
