Spoiler alert: the Union double vibrator has become our favourite double toy. It feels exciting having it inside from both ends because it grants G-spot stimulation (and orgasms) from the carrier’s and the receiver’s side. Another great thing about this toy is that, like many Wet For Her’s dildos, it comes in three sizes, Small, Medium, and Large.
It is made of high-quality medical-grade silicone. The dimensions of insertable parts of the toy are: Small: 5.90" (15 cm) with a 1.06" (2.7 cm) diameter; Medium size: 1.38" (3.5 cm); and Larger size: 1.61" (4.09 cm). The bulb part has a 1.45" (3.7 cm) diameter for a length of 2.75" (7 cm) for all sizes, to support remaining inside the carrier during your back and forth movements. It comes with a 5 speed, USB rechargeable bullet. It is bendable enough on both ends to support you in various positions. An interesting detail about its design, that is not observable from the outside, is that it has an internal copper wire which enables a level of shape of memory.
If you have read a couple of our reviews, you probably know that we prefer dildos and internal vibrators in larger sizes. However, to our surprise, when we first opened the package of the Union double, we were worried that the large sized dildo on the receiver’s side would be too big. This worry was destroyed during the first use. The thing about doubles is that the non-insertable length tends to be more significant compared to other dildos, so they may seem too large. The dildo feels amazing to have inside, due to its curve towards the G-spot. Furthermore, if the receiver is on top they have all the control over how much of the dildo they are inserting. Otherwise, they can communicate with the partner to take it slow, until they have warmed-up. Once you are warmed up, the Union will satisfy you with amazing orgasms. The rubbing of the bulb and the curve against our G-spots drives us crazy. All in all, we are very happy with the Large size. It accommodates the use of clitoral vibratos, while also not being too big to be used on its own.
Our favourite way to use it is when one partner places the shorter part, also called “the bulb” in her vagina and puts her legs together to hold the toy in place while the other one is riding her, aka the cowgirl position. We have never had an issue with this one falling out, even though we use lube on both sides and one of us produces a lot of natural lubricants.
The Union Double Dildo is also compatible with a variety of harnesses, including the thickest varieties, because it has a few cms of non-insertable length - this can be a problem with smaller doubles. Using a harness will enable you to put your double to greater use, for example, to use it in situations where your pelvic floor needs a bit of support to keep the toy in one place. If you are deciding between purchasing a strap on compatible dildo or a double, the Union double is a fab choice (as long as internal stimulation tickles both yours and your partner’s fancies).
This five-star scoring toy has two minor shortcomings. We have noticed, that compared to other silicone toys we have tried, this one tends cool down faster in colder environments. Our guess is that this could be related to the wire in the middle. This problem is obviously only apparent during the colder months. And we can certainly work around the coldness. During the winter, we place our storage box with toys in heavy rotation close to a heater and during the foreplay we place it on the heater itself for a few minutes. Please be careful with the latter method by making sure that your heater is not too hot and by placing a piece of fabric underneath the toy. The other possible shortcoming is that the silicone is on the firmer side. However, this is not a problem once you get it inside. At that point the hardness might actually become an advantage, as it might actually work in its benefit, as it caresses the G-spot in the most orgasmic way.
Finally, the Union includes 5 speeds rechargeable bullet vibe which we do not use, as the vibrations are not strong enough against the clit to make us come. It is super easy to clean and comes in three colours: black, purple, or pink.
