Sharevibe by Fun Factory

Fun Factory is a German company that is dear to us because it produces high quality toys that comply with our aesthetic values, such as fun and imaginary, non-phallic, shapes and colors that are captured in body-safe materials. On top of that, they have a few unique sex toys that are particularly tailoring queer couples.

A disclaimer: this is a vibrating double dildo, or a strapless strap, to be used for pegging (carried by women who hold it with their pelvic floor muscles to penetrate others). This review is made solely from a perspective of a lesbian couple.

The Sharevibe is an amazing toy for two main reasons. One, it has a decently sized bulb on the wearer's end (9 cm long and 3,9 cm thick), which offers decent support for the wearer. We have tried a couple of strapless straps, or double dildos, but they were all too small for either one of us to wear and hold in for any significant amount of time. To our experience a small bulb, on the carrier's side is one of the major downsides of the double dildos because they tend to slip out, especially when the carrier gets wet.

Second, its folded shape (having a minimal angle between the dildo and the bulb; the carrier and the receivers sides are almost parallel to each other), allows you and your partner to get super close to one another.  At the same time, it is very flexible, so that it can be used in various positions. This strapless strap is, therefore, fantastic for the occasions when both you and your partner want the all inclusive package, with penetration and tribbing, or clitorial stimulation, all that, while potentially also being close to one another. This is an occasion that a harness with a one-sided dildo can unfortunately not raise to.

The Sharevibe is anatomically shaped, with both ends being curved in a way to hit the G-spot. It is made of a hypoallergenic, medical-grade premium silicone using body-friendly dyes. It feels luxuriously velvety and smooth. It weighs 415 g and measures 21,9 cm in length and 2,1 - 3,9 cm in thickness. It comes with a sturdy USB charging cable, and needs approximately 2 hours to charge for a 45 - 90 minutes fun. It is also waterproof and extremely easy to clean after use. The wearer is in for another treat, as they can also enjoy vibrations on their clitoris. The Sharevibe has a removable 5 setting bullet vibrator, 2 speeds and 3 patterns. The bullet can be taken out and used on its own, inside another dildo, or inside a harness (if it has a pocket for a bullet vibrator). The vibrator is made of plastic, and has a one-button to change programs. Intuitively, you hold the button for 2-3 seconds to turn it off. However, the vibrator is not very powerful and gets very loud, when used inside of the Sharevibe.

The receiver's side is rather small and particularly thin (12,2 cm long and 2,1 cm wide), especially compared to the other end. For us, it does the trick when used in a missionary position and mixed with clitorial stimulation for the receiver. However, it is unfortunately too small and too thin for us in any other position than a missionary. Sometimes we compensate for its small size by attaching a “penis sleeve” to it. Because it has a smooth shape, it is also perfect for anal play.

This toy can also be used with a harness. However, the amount of pleasure received from that depends on what kind of a harness one is using. One can, for example, use a harness made from a lot of fabric like Joque harness from Wet for her, or a minimalist version, like Her Royal Harness The Regal Duchess by CalExotics. Our issue when using the former is mainly that the harness occupies precious space on the dildo that could be used for penetrating your partner. Furthermore, unless your harness is made of a few thin stripes, it is likely to kill the skin to skin contact, which is one of the major benefits of using a strapless strap. Again, these two problems can also be overcome by combining the receiver's side with a penis sleeve and by choosing one of the minimalist harnesses.

Our recommendations for use:

  • Although the bulb is generously sized, we would recommend to avoid using lube, because there is a high risk that the dildo will slip out of you even before you manage to get it in your partner, or at least very soon after

  • If you tend to get super wet, and / or, are not versed in kegels, keep in mind that you might be limited to small movements. You may also want to consider using this toy early on in the play, before you get very wet.

Because it is anatomically shaped and because the two parts are nearly parallel to one another, it feels like a part of the carrier's body. There is just something more realistic, about having a strap dildo hugging your belly, as opposed to it hanging at least 90 degrees away from it, that makes it feel like it is a part of you. It is an unexpected perk that we haven’t gotten to experience with a strap-on, or with strapless straps of different shapes.

It comes in three colors: dark violet, pink, caucasian skin color. It comes with a breathable accessory bag that is also especially super handy for traveling. This toy is super easy to recharge with the attached USB cabel.
