Rock Her by Wet For Her

We are big admirers of the Wet For Her company as they are a pioneer in developing body-safe sex toys for lesbian couples and queer women. Read our interview with their CEO here, to find out more about what makes them so great.

We love that the Rock Her is a toy that was designed for what is arguably the staple lesbian sex act - scissoring and that it actually works and is fairly affordable. A true gem in the sex toys industry!

This toy is described as a “vibrating clitoral ring with textured g-spot bulb”. It is made of 100% medical grade silicone, like all of Wet For Her’s toys. It has 10 vibration modes, which can be regulated with a wireless remote control (included). The toy itself is USB rechargeable and has a decent running of 1 hour (60 minutes). However, the remote control runs on a battery. Rock Her is splash proof (suitable ofr use in shower, not in a bathtub).

The Rock Her offers simultaneous internal and external stimulation. The bulb is meant to be inserted inside the vagina, while the ring should be placed around the clitoris “head”. The part including the clit ring, including the narrow neck leading to the G-spot bulb is made of a rather hard material, which enables the toy to stay in place. We are super impressed by how well it does that, as we never had to readjust the toy. You put it on and you are good to go for a while.

The other thing that is impressive is the strength of the ring vibrator, given its tiny size. We are talking about a couple of millimeters (0.5mm) thin surfaces. It was our first time using a vibrator placed around the clit, rather than directly on the clit. What it does is, it stimulates the outer clit area, which is a fab way to be pleasured, especially on the top part above the clit. This makes the clit to increase in size and “come further out” inside the centre of the ring, making it easier for you to stimulate the tip-pleasure point of your clit, while scissoring or tribbing.

We discovered three main uses of this toy: wearing it while strapped in a harness, during tribbing and during scissoring. We’ll first explain the commonalities of all those types of uses and then proceed to a more detailed description of each of the tree uses. Regardless of the position, the vibrating bulb feels lovely and exciting to have inside. We look at it like a vaginal plug, which moves with your body, so as you are rubbing your booty against your partner, the bulb is tickling your G-spot.

First, our favorite way to use the Rock Her is inside a harness or a strap-on. The carrier first inserts the Rok Her vibrator, and then either the underwear, or the harness directly (depending on the type of a harness and personal preferences). You or your partner can control it with the remote control. We get quite excited about pleasuring each other and we love both being pleasured simultaneously, but we haven’t found any other toy that would so nicely complement strap-on play for the harness carrier.

Second, another great use is tribbing (other than scissoring). For example, the RockHer is there for your rescue in situations when you may be feeling in need os internal stimulation, while your partner is just not there (yet). Use it while tribbing against your partner’s thigh, butt, or whatever gets you going. Of course, you can also use it on your own, while rubbing yourself against an object. Just like when using it with a harness, it offers fab internal stimulation as well as considerable vibrating support for your clit as you are rubbing it away.

Three, it was designed with the purpose to be a scissoring toy. It adds extra spice to scissoring, the vibrations are exciting to feel for both parties. However, the one carrying the toy is in for more fun than the other. We have noticed that, as the play becomes rougher and you want to rub your clits with more pressure and force, the clit ring can be painful for the other partner who is not wearing the Rock Her. Like we said above, the plastic is quite hard and even though it is very thin, it can still feel unpleasant for the partner not wearing it. It's not so painful that it would be a dealbreaker, but it calls for some readjustment in search for a comfortable spot, which can occur at an unfortunate timing - when your partner is about to come and throw them off their game.

It’s sound is pretty benign, this being an internal toy means that most of the noise gets muffled by your vagina. Additionally, Rock Her only comes in lilac color.

All in all, it is a fantastic toy to take your strap-on game to the next level and to spice-up your scissoring game.
